Pangandaran Beach is actually named after a small fishing village of the same name that nestles near the border of Central Java, 223 km SE of Bandung and a 5-6 hour drive. With the velvet blue waters of the Indian Ocean lapping up the village from al sides, this is a perfect coastal getaway for everyone. The only advice is that for those who love swimming should take great care when swimming especially at the East-beach.

Though the surf of Pangandaran Beach is rough and sometimes dangerous but the Western side is safe (sheltered by coral reefs) and clean, no seaweed, coral, of jellyfishes, still always take care! The people are very friendly.
